Linking slides between different Google Slides
When preparing lessons or presentations for various classes and purposes, you have slides or slide decks that repeat themselves because you need to display that information in multiple places. But what happens when you need to update those pieces of information?
You can either do it manually in every presentation or use this handy trick for Google Slides to automatically update them anywhere.
Today, you will discover how to make sure that a single slide in a slide deck is constantly updated, no matter where you copy it to.
Firstly, open a presentation and copy the slide you want to reproduce in other presentations. Then, go ahead and open a second presentation, click on the grey area, select “Paste”, and finally choose “Link & keep original slides.”
Using this quick feature, whenever you update the source slide, it will be quickly updated wherever it is linked.
