Publishing to the Web with Google Docs

The “Publish to the web” feature is handy for providing students, peers, and parents with information or simply keeping them up to date on a particular activity.

This tutorial will focus on Google Docs, but you’ll find this feature in Google Sheets and Slides too.

So, what does publishing a document to the web mean? In a nutshell, it allows you to create a sharable link to a document without enabling other people to edit it.

All you have to do is go up to “File” and click “Publish to the web”. Here you’ll be able to choose between “Link” and “Embed” or change the default settings to update it along the way and share the changes only once you’re done editing.

Make sure to watch the video above to get the best of this feature in the latest episode of Tips & Tricks by AppsEvents – of which Acer is Global Partner Plus.
